Greenfield Intercultural Center Virtual Patio Series
The Albert M. Greenfield Intercultural Center (GIC) would like to congratulate you on your acceptance to the University of Pennsylvania. We are extremely excited that you have chosen Penn! We welcome you to check out the GIC, Penn's resource for enhancing students' intercultural knowledge, competency, and leadership.
At the GIC, we embrace intersections of identity. Home can include many places and people! Penn is committed to this understanding with the support of many cultural resource centers in addition to Greenfield Intercultural Center (GIC), such as The Pan-Asian American Community House (PAACH), the LGBT Center, The Penn Women’s Center, The Center for Hispanic Excellence: La Casa Latina, Makuu: The Black Cultural Center, and PennCAP all housed within the Division of the Vice Provost for University Life.
At the GIC, we enjoy community meals and fellowship in our backyard and patio. You are invited to join our GIC Virtual Patio Series chat with current Native, First-Gen Lower-Income (FGLI), International FGLI, and DACAmented/Undocumented students who will share how they navigate Penn. Each of the five sessions will include student stories, helpful information, and time for Q&A. You are welcome to attend all the sessions regardless of how you choose to identify.
Sign up for the GIC Newsletter or follow us on Facebook and Instagram to receive up-to-date information. Congratulations again on choosing the University of Pennsylvania!
