With support from the Henry Luce Foundation, the Center for the Study of Religion and the City (CSRC) at Morgan State University invites justice oriented organizations and leaders to apply for CSRC Relief and Restoration Grants to support immediate and sustainable work addressing the COVID-19 Pandemic’s disproportionate and devastating impact on communities of color.
Funds can be used to provide food, housing support, and/or health care relief (including information dissemination, masks, cleaning supplies, and uplifting activities) OR to support initiatives aimed at restoring our communities’ ability to sustainably provide these essentials for ourselves (developing new skills, purchasing equipment, or using the time to adapt practices and programs so that our community’s professionals can “make it through” for the benefit of our whole community). CSRC is also looking for 5 student and 3 faculty research fellows. Visit https://www.religionandcities.org/relief for more information.
