The Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowships (CURF) is very pleased to announce that the Fulbright U.S. Student Program application cycle is underway for applicants who would take up their grants in 2021-2022. As the University of Pennsylvania’s official endorser of applicants, CURF works with juniors and seniors, graduate students, and alumni interested in applying for Fulbright Study/Research Grants and English Teaching Assistant Awards.
CURF’s Fulbright Canvas site is designed to serve as an informative and engaging resource for prospective Fulbright applicants at Penn, who may request access by submitting this brief webform: http://webform.curf.upenn.edu/fulbright-applicant-access. Prospective applicants are also encouraged to attend upcoming remote Fulbright events and to engage in remote advising conversations with CURF staff. Fulbright U.S. Student Program applicants (who must be U.S. Citizens) submit their complete applications by August 31, 2020 in order to meet Penn’s campus deadline for participation our Campus Process and to take full advantage of CURF application support. The Fulbright program’s mission is to facilitate educational and cultural exchange, and they aim to accomplish that by sending abroad a cohort of grantees that represents America’s rich diversity (you might enjoy viewing [and sharing!] this video called “I am Fulbright”). As such, it is our mission to inform the Penn community about Fulbright opportunities, as well as the availability of CURF support! Thank you so much for helping us to do so.
